Pam finally got a break from motherhood to bring Desi to the clinic.
I think Desi appreciated it!
Nancy gets a really good Binky trot.
Binky canters to the right for Nancy. Good prep for canter lead work.
Alice is back - more fit and with a big smile.
and she volunteers to canter - wait, now who rode Poco?
Good lateral work, Alice! (You too, Poco)
Nick gets a lesson in patience and dealing with a huge pushy puppy-horse.
Jana finally gets a day off and gives us her biggest smile.
For Binky this lateral work is not so hard,
but this lateral work is not so easy!
Jana documented Willow's real horse trot.
This week Willow is even better going to the right.
But Joyce had the most fun with Willow's lateral work.
Whisper is unconcerned with the flag.
Adelheid and Whisper in their very first deliberate canter. Tears to follow.
I love Whisper's angle here. Good balance, both of you.
Day two, we are working in the big arena.
Adelheid picks up the rein for the first time as if it were made of crystal,
but even the canter was no problem. What a star!
Sara worked on ponying on Chance, leading Sunny.
First we need to get agreement on who goes first and in what direction.
This requires more coordination than we thought.
Sara is fast to figure it all out and the boys cooperate.
Liz finds that Cricket needs lots of loosening up, but the results are great.
Are you sure Cricket is REALLY 23?
Success brings a huge smile to Liz's face - and ours.
We are all in awe of that trot!
